Doctor Fuster was renowned for his untiring zeal to exceed himself and for his constant search for excellence in his work, values which allowed him to achieve the first pregnancy, through in vitro fertilisation in El Vallès Occidental (1991) and to be a pioneer in practicing epidural anaesthetic for childbirth (1974).
