Our assistants have experienced this process first-hand, and thus are thus very aware of what the patients are going through. They understand their concerns and fears, and can therefore offer them the best possible attention and psychological support in order to ensure the treatment is a pleasant and positive experience.
As soon as a patient contacts Salus XXI, our International Patient Care Team assigns them an assistant who is fluent in their language, and who will take care of their needs throughout their treatment – from start to finish. The assistant will deal with both the administrative side and the assisted reproduction process, since they liaise between the patient and the medical team.
- First contact with the patient.
- Documentation required for the first visit is requested.
- All the necessary procedures are coordinated with a “local” gynaecologist.
- The required return trips to the clinic are arranged.
- Personal assistance is provided from the moment the patients arrive in Barcelona until they return home. The patients are collected from their hotel, accompanied during medical consultations, taken back to their hotel and offered a tourist guide service during their stay.
