The Salus XXI Group (previously the Centre Mèdic Fuster) was created in 1943, when Dr. Rafael Fuster set up his first gynaecological consulting room in Sabadell. Doctor Fuster was renowned for his untiring zeal to exceed himself and for his constant search for excellence in his work, values which allowed him to achieve the first pregnancy, through in vitro fertilisation in El Vallès Occidental (1991) and to be a pioneer in practicing epidural anaesthesia for childbirth (1974).

In order to offer greater coverage and medical care to its patients, in 2005, the Centre Mèdic Fuster became part of the health division of Grup XXI. Salus XXI Medical Group is a set of multidisciplinary centres, with a wide range of human and technological resources, with a firm commitment to guarantee the best care to its patients.

Among the centre's current specialities, we should mention the Assisted Human Reproduction Unit, which has been offering service to its patients for more than 20 years combining the technological advances of today's medicine with a human, personal care.

The Unit has a modern infrastructure complete with high technology and offers medical services, complementary diagnostic tests and leading treatments in the area of assisted human reproduction. It should be added that the human team, made up of highly qualified professionals, pays special attention to the individual touch with its patients, with the maximum objective being to help them solve their reproduction problems in the best way possible.
